“Would this work if i have a security camera drv on a different floor then the internet box can this also be used if i plug ethernet wire into to give the dvr internet for remote access to view games from smart phone app?”

• Yes it will work. I did exactly that with a Reolink DVR. Got access to the internet signal, all my devices can see the cameras.
