The router does not utilize coaxial connectivity; it connects to your existing Internet source (i.e. modem) via Ethernet. For example, if you have cable Internet services, you will need a cable modem, which connects to your coaxial Internet source, then converts it to Ethernet so you can connect it to a router, such as this one.
