- Answer Hi, Once the extender is set up and connected to your router, your devices can roam between the main network and extended network connections. If you assigned the same SSID (Wi-Fi name) to both networks, roaming between them should be automatic for your devices.

- Answer Yes, you can extend the signal of another Wi-Fi extender. However, in general, we do not recommend directly chaining more than two extenders to preserve bandwidth and performance integrity.

- Answer Hi! Yes, TP-Link Wi-Fi extenders are universally compatible with Wi-Fi routers. The key difference between the RE505X and RE705X is their maximum theoretical bandwidth capabilities. The RE505X has a maximum theoretical bandwidth of up to 300 Mbps via 2.4GHz and up to 1200 Mbps via 5 GHZ, while the RE705X is up to 574 Mbps via 2.4 GHz, and up to 2402 Mbps via 5GHz.
