Tracfone is pay as you go. They do have monthly plans if you prefer that type of plan. You can check out tracfone.com for more info. I purchase my Min/Text/Data cards at our local grocery store, but they sell them at many different stores or online.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We live in a rural area and due to bluffs around our home we do not have a cell signal here. SO...we do not have expensive smartphones. My husband and I have each had Tracfones for probably 10 or more years. With Tracfone you buy the phone and that's it. No monthly phone charges, no service fee, but you buy minutes. You can buy your minutes online, on the phone or using a minute card that has to be activated at the cash register when you pay for it. There is a code on the minute card that you use online or by calling Tracfone and it will then add minutes to your phone. Some of the cards or even the phone itself is designed to automatically double or triple your minutes once you "install" them. Hope this helps.
