I'm not clear whether you're referring to an earlier Samsung phone or some other type entirely. Of course you can load contacts manually, but I had a much older (4 years) Samsung phone and all my contacts immediately migrated from the old phone to the new without my having to do a thing. I'm sure you can load contacts either way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Previous answer is slightly wrong. Just googled it. " Google has broken contacts out of GMail into a separate App called Contacts." The Samsung phone still uses Google for its contact list, but through the Contact App, not gmail. Still helps to have gmail. More of a hassle than just syncing and downloading from my old phone using bluetooth, but doable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only way I've found (so far) to load contacts to this phone, it to have a gmail account. When I connect to gmail, the phone automatically uses that account's contact list. I'm also still learning the phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Go the phone icon, click it to open. Click on the contact tap and hit the creat a contact and fill the field and save it.
