It does do the triple minutes plan and also the smart phone plans as well. You can also add text only and data only to plans. I was told all plans roll with each other too by a CSR at Tracfone but I have yet to experiece this as we have had phone for 2 weeks. It comes with the charger only.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only thing that comes with phone is the charge cord/adapter. Triple (or in my case, Double minutes, did not transfer. However the minutes I had on my old TracFone did transfer. I would not depend on TracFones web site to get any thing done, just call them in the first place and save yourself a LOT of time.
