Hey Paul. They do work with the slim. However you won't be able to use the optical cable since the slim does not have an input for an optical cable. You will simply need to plug in the USB dongle to your slim. PLAYSTATION 4 SLIM (WITHOUT OPTICAL) SETUP Go to Settings >> Devices >> Audio Devices. Select USB Device (Turtle Beach Stealth 700) for Input & Output Devices. Set Output to Headphones to All Audio. Set Volume Control (Headphones) to maximum. Select Adjust Microphone Level and follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate your microphone. Using the separate game and chat volume won't be available though cause of not being able to use optic cable. Hope this helps. Chili
