• Retailer buy in bulk and pass deal long to customer. The manufacturer charges the msrp. I can walk my unit into any best buy if i have a problem with the Uniden website your shipping and calling no immediate customer service. I went with Best Buy because of that I dont want to ship insure and wait. I walk in iff there is an issue I leave with a new unit.

• I’d assume when products are bought in bulk they can be acquired cheaper, and then sold at a lesser price.
