• Since you are installing the Vantop mirror in front of the existing inside mirror, I suggest you install also the rear camera on the rear window so you will see the rear since your inside mirror is covered. The rear view camera works well. It has a 160 degree view angel and it displays part of the blind spot on your display. Also you can fill your car up to the ceiling and you can still see your rear view. Your existing back up camera can double up with the Vantop when backing up.

• You can install the camera wherever you want I currently installed in on my front bumper on my jeep using it as a trail cam
