• You have to buy a separate kit. And my VW had weird a grounding scheme that took someone with more knowlege than me to figure out. When the same problem happened on the second mirror, I went to a pro at BB Installation. It took him and a meter about an hour to figure out that VWs have 2 different gounds for the accessories circuit.
