• as long as the sim card fits and its a verizon one it should work. i used a verizon prepaid phone for a while on a post paid plan until i got a new phone and it worked perfectly and incase you cant get it to work you could return it.

• Yes but the pre paid has to be activated for 30 days before moving it to a plan. I have done this several times and you will need to buy at least a $30 to $40 card activate the phone once the 30 days are up call verizon & ask for customer care to transfer.
