• No, you make the video and audio connections to the out posts in back of the VCR. Connect to the USB port on the computer. Run the program and make the selections and you will be able to watch on the computer.

• No, I hooked it to the vcr and my laptop.

• No. I connected it directly to a camcorder to transfer from mini-DV tapes and directly to a VHS player to transfer home movies. You can view the content thru your computer screen
