A:AnswerI just charged mine and it takes about an hour to fully charge. The charge is stated to last months, but I haven't gone from 100% to 0% on mine yet to be able to give that much info.
A:AnswerInstalled it into my Toyota Hylander and another one for my dad's Tundra.
Both of them works great.
I would say, for both of your car shouldnt be any problem and should work as well.
A:AnswerAs to the Kia Forte question, you have to check the compatibility. Best Buy can install it for you, the cost depends on if installation is included with the purchase. It used to not be included and was an extra charge if you didn’t have Total Tech but now it is basically included in the price.
A:AnswerIf you want the heat on when you use your remote starter, when you park your car turn the heat on. That way when you start it with the remote ithe heatwill be on. As far as shutting off when you step on the brake that is normal. To keep it from doing that you must put the key in the ignition and turn it to the run position before you step on the brake.
A:AnswerThis remote is for Viper remotestart system, it will not work directly with the car unless you have that system installed. If needed for just like the factory fob, you need to look elsewhere. Mfg fob are expensive but you can find ones online for $10-$20
