No remote start can turn the knobs or push the buttons on your climate control for you. They can’t change physical settings remotely. It does however turn on the climate control system to the last setting before you turned the car off (if it’s cold out most people leave it on heat, opposite of its hot out) and if you have an “auto” setting on your climate control it will heat or cool automatically to your desired temperature. Don’t know anyone who adjusts the temperature mid- remote start, it’s simply to pre-heat or cool the cabin before you get in. Runtime on most remote starts is 15min.
