• Well I have digital antenna hooked to it but never use it. I watch strictly Internet TV. Digital antenna does work and receives good. So it’s your preference. Internet tv works better for me. No you don’t need one to watch Internet TV.

• External HD antennae is needed for OTA broadcasts. Tuner works pretty good actually when on the antenna.

• Yes. But you can also connect it to Ethernet if you subscribe to any of the streaming services.
