Perfect TV for small guest room

Perfect for my small guest room. It comes app ready for Netflix, YouTube, etc so no need for a firestick or cable. As long as you have WiFi, just bring up the apps and sign in. I got the TV for my use while filing, as well as for guests. I've had Visio TVs before so knew what I was getting - great picture but sound is a bit tinny. Recommend an inexpensive sound bar though I don'thave one since it's in a guest room. Very happy with my purchase.

So the price and quality of this tv are definitely better than you find with comparable items. Super easy to set up and overall a great product for what I planned to use it for.
I removed one star because the operating system is somewhat antiquated so I had to buy a roku so that there wasn't a ton of lag time issues. Nothing major and it works well but I am impatient so if anything, folks may dislike the user interface with this tv.

Great picture but poor audio

The good, Great picture, bright and sharp. Easy to set up, connecting to wi-fi and cable was easy. It has many nice features and apps that are preloaded. But the bad; poor audio. Very tinny and hollow sound. The remote is difficult to use. Channel buttons are so small they are hard to use. There is no favorite feature for channels therefore must use the buttons to enter the entire channel. Our cable requires 4 or 5 digits with a - separating them. The response is slow so it is difficult with this remote.
Tried to get around the poor audio with a set of external speakers. It worked except I could not control the volume with the tv remote. According to the manual and set up, I should be able to with the audio set to external speakers and variable. Did not work. I am very dissapointed.

We appreciate that you took the time to provide feedback about the remote that came with your television. If you would like a more intuitive experience controlling your television, we also have the SmartCast Mobile application in your mobile devices application store. This application will do everything your current remote does and help you discover what applications will help you watch your favorite shows and movies. As televisions continue to have larger screens with thinner profiles and sleeker bezels, there is less room for large speakers. To help get the best audio quality out of your VIZIO televisions speakers, we’ve included settings like DTS Studio Sound to provide the highest performance possible, while maintaining the thin, sleek, bezel-less profile of your television. If you’d like any help adjusting your audio settings or to get the sound bar volume to change with your TV remote, please contact our customer support team by visiting support.VIZIO.com and selecting the 'Contact Us' option.

We needed a slightly larger tv for our remodeled home office as my wife is working from home. TV has a great picture and is smart so we added our Netflix, Amazon prime, as well as Directv. The Pluto app gives us plenty of viewing options. Set up was easy and the light weight made it great for wall mounting. Now for the however . . . the power cord is not flush with the back of the tv so wall mounting can be tricky. Turning on the set can be troublesome at times. Unplugging the power cord and plugging it back in seems to help. Switching apps must be done quickly, if you delay in your selection the tv will switch to that app. TV will also randomly freeze while in apps, unplugging seems to help with this as well. Picture is great, just working on the bugs.

This is the perfect tv for a bedroom and for those who don’t watch much. Being small at 24 inches and still 1080P makes the image quality crisp. The VIZIO WatchFree feature is amazing, you get a lotttt of channels for free only needing an internet connection. I would definitely recommend this for those who don’t watch too much tv and want something small and simple for a bedroom or kitchen even.

Not many choices out there. Everything is so big. I needed a tv to fit between the kitchen counter and the cabinets. This was just the right size! Starting to have some issues with it... It sometimes won't turn off or when it turns on, I only get sound and not image. It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough to be annoying. I have to unplug it and plug it back in manually.

At first I was pleased with this TV. It had a good picture and worked well even though you were limited on the number of available APPs. That said, this is the 2nd VIZIO TV that I had that only lasted about 2 1/2 years. The first one, the entire screen went blank and after after trouble shooting, ended up tossing it. The second one has now gone haywire. I started out with a thin horizontal line about four inch's from the bottom of the screen. after another week the picture became unviewable. Dark purple and white horizontal lines and white vertical lines. Of course they were both beyond the 1 year manufacture warrantee as well as the Geek Squad 2 year extend warrantee. Although this TV is not real expensive, if you have to replace it every couple of years it's not worth it. Unfortunately I still have one more VIZIO TV that I've had for about 26 months. Make me wonder how much longer it will last.

Small footprint but has all the bells and whistles I was looking for. Just wish the unit was a bit more responsive. I guess this is due to the specs and processing power, but for the price how much more could you ask for. Great picture quality overall, many apps to choose from based on your viewing preferences. Happy with my purchase.

Ok for the price. Manage your expectations. I got this for my kids’ play room in the basement. The picture quality is ok. I’ve heard some reviews that sound was poor, but it doesn’t bother me. The processor is slow - The apps launch very slowly. Also, wifi picks up only 2G. But for the price, its ok. Also the body has a cheap plastic feel to it but not a deal breaker for me.

I use this Vizio TV and another older Vizio TV as dual computer monitors. Great color and resolution. I experience very little latency while playing games. Perfect for Zoom calls. I can easily switch between PC and TV mode. Connects perfectly to home network, streaming services, and Google Assistant. Highly recommended.

Very good quality. I was a little set back because it’s a Fire edition so it has a fire remote but it works really well. Smartcast also works well, you just need to make sure your device is using the same wifi connection that the tv is connected to. Overall it was a good buy.

Love my tv. Great for the kitchen and super easy to cast shows from my iPhone. I did add a sound-bar, sound on tv isn’t the best but with the added sound-bar it’s great. The picture is great and I’m very happy with my purchase. It is also compatible with my google nest.

Decent little tv. It's hard to get great quality for what you pay for this. That said, sounds not the best and it's a little slow moving. Though completely manageable, however, if you have another smart tv in the house you will notice a huge difference with how this processor operates.

Bought this great priced Vizio D series 24" t.v. for our travel trailer. Fits perfect in the designated spot. Even though it's a 24", the actual picture is about 12"x12". We didn't get the sound bar because we don't watch it that much but would recommend it.

Great as TV or PC monitor. Many good apps to play shows and movies. Excellent quality picture and decent sound. I have to say that the navigation response is slower than his big brother the M series 50”.

When I first bought this tv I was very satisfied with it since it was a step up to the tv I was previously using which kicked the bucket. Set up was quick, easy and straight to the point. I did take some of the comments about 'the interface being a little slow at times' with a grain of salt and I was easily able to overlook that and still thoroughly enjoy using it.
After about six months of problem free use however, I would notice the screen would freeze/lag on a streaming service and instead of defaulting back to the home screen it would just be a blank gray screen. Pressing the power button on the remote and the tv would not get the tv to turn off so I would have to unplug it from the outlet at times. After a few self updates, I hoped these hiccups would be resolved to no avail.
Off and on for a few months now I've noticed the speakers sounding tinny even though 90% of the time the volume does not go higher than 20. Lastly for a little over a month now, there is a blue horizontal line across the lower half of my screen. Thankfully it is only one line at the moment, but I'm concerned more will show up along with other new issues.
I am not sure if I just ended up with a faulty model but I did genuinely enjoy using it when I first bought it and I'm now contemplating on trying a different model in Vizio's D-series for hopefully a better outcome.

Wifi Disconnection issue

I brought 2 of Vizio 24" TV for our girl's bedrooms. Perfect size for their rooms and done mounted on the wall, less chance if it ever falls off the furniture instead of mounting it due to kiddos safety. Downside is that it seems it do disconnect WiFi once a while...even we have topped 600 speed Xfinity cable so it shouldn't be a problem like that. So will buy 4k tv later on and might buy different brand. Not know yet how long Vizio TV will survive with wifi issues.
