A:AnswerI hooked up some old Bose computer speakers to my tv, because, yes, the sound is awful. Sounds great now, but I have to use the volume knob on the speaker. the volume button on remote does not recognize my speakers i guess
A:AnswerYes. I do as well and I have fast internet. It's frustrating because often I stroke a key twice thinking the first wasnt firm enough but it just turns out to be painfully slow.
A:AnswerI can’t find any technical spec showing if the Visio D24f-G1 supports 5 ghz WiFi but I can speak from experience that I have two of these models and they are very slow using WiFi on their own (very close proximity to router) causing much buffering and delay unless I connect an Apple TV device to them which has its own WiFi radio. It’s super fast this way. The other way is unworkable. I have the latest AT&T U-verse router supporting automatic switching of both 2.4 and 5mhz frequencies and have a twisted pair 25mhz download speed rating. I bought these TVs from BestBuy November 2019.
A:AnswerIt will work with a Fire Stick, but the resolution is 1080p, so you won't need a 4K Fire Stick. Also, it has many built in apps and a built in Chromecast. It has a built in sleep timer that will count down to auto-power off based on the time you select.
A:AnswerYes, this television includes a tuner so you can use it with an antenna. It can receive both ATSC 1.0 (the current digital standard) and NTSC (the old analog standard).
A:AnswerHello Toby, Check to see if you have the AirPlay icon Apple AirPlay Icon showing on SmartCast Home. The icon will be in the upper right corner next to the Cast icon.
Make sure that the AirPlay option is Enabled on your TV. To do this:
Go to SmartCast Home by pressing the V button or Home button on your VIZIO TV remote.
At the top of the screen select the Extras menu.
Highlight the AirPlay option and make sure that On is selected.
Make sure that your VIZIO TV and your Apple device are on the same Network name.
A:AnswerI get Peacock on mine but I get it through my ROKU account. I've seen somewhere that Peacock is supported with all Vizio Smartcast TVs. So I suppose that if this TV is a Smartcast TV, you can get it.
