A:Answerthe location of the speakers is also an issue. the speakers are on the bottom of the tv and face down. putting 5w (as you say) speakers will not improve the sound much if at all. it's not the power handling of the speakers but the power output of the amp driving them. at this price and feature level, compromise may be expected.
