• For extending the length, I would purchase a larger gauge speaker wire for the extension as there will be less resitance. The brand doesn't matter. Just extend both wires to the same length. even if one could be shorter.

• For alternate audio cords, I would recommend taking one of the VIZIO cords with you to double check the connections needed.
