A: AnswerNo, the satellite speakers are NOT wireless, they must be connected by wire. In fact, you connect them by plugging them into the ports on the back of the sub using RCA cables, check the pictures and you'll see.Answered by Ceruleanveritas
- A: AnswerIt supports Dolby Atmos content, and it uses front-firing speakers on the bar to bounce sound off the ceiling and back down to the listener, creating the illusion of height. That's from a review I read. But to be honest, all speakers do that to some degree or another. The system is listed/described as being 5.1, not 5.1.2, so I would think the stated Dolby Atmos capability is mostly an advertising ploy. Maybe it can decode a Dolby Atmos signal with discrete channels, but the soundbar itself is not capable of doing true Dolby Atmos for the very reason you stated. Personally, I'm skeptical as to whether any soundbar can do Dolby Atmos, regardless of the driver orientation, upward-firing speakers are just a cheap gimmick to advertise the product as being Dolby Atmos capable so they can charge more money. That being said, the review I referenced above calls this the best soundbar under $500, doing very well with TV/diaglogue, music, and movies.

- A: AnswerGo into the sound settings for your TV and in the audio output option, enable audio pass through. This may work. Rtings had the same issue when they tested various TVs with soundbars it and found this to be the fix.

Superb sound for the price.
Owned for 8 months by when reviewed.Good value for money and superb sound is what Vizio aims for with their sound bars. Deep and engaging bass and good mids make for an avid movie watching experience. Rtings has rightly recmmneded vizio bar at this price- i dont think you can find a better sound bar and surrounds at 300$. The interface is not very visual and everything is through the remote - probably a side effect of keeping the price low. The atmos sound also is not really great if your looking for height channnel performance but no soundbar is. The surround soundstage and overall experience is really immersive and thats what matters. 10/10 would recommend. Only negative part is the fabric cover which might accumulate dust and be harder to clean.

Best soundbar for the buget
Owned for 2 months by when reviewed.I love the audio quality its better than the built in tv speakers , having both dolby atmos and dtsx is great for movies that support it and for the price is also great. The only thing is you need to buy stands for the rear channels speakers. overall is a great soundbar for the budget.
