“How would you connect multiple external sources (cable box & blu-ray player) if it only has one HDMI Input? Would you connect the external sources to the TV via HDMI and connect the sound bar to the TV with an optical cable? I have new Vizio P-Series.”

I connected soundbar to tv with HDMI cable and the cable box connected to tv. This is working for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thanks for your question. The HDMI connection on the sound bar is for use with Audio Return Channel (ARC). You can connect your devices directly to the TV then connect the sound bar to the optical audio out connection, or other matching audio out. That will allow the audio from those devices to play through to the sound bar. Thanks again! -Randal
