A:AnswerA greeting announcement can be recorded by: Select Menu - Push bottom Arrow (CID) until Answering Sys - Push the select and then select Announcement - Then select Record and you will be guided to record the greeting announcement. The Menu and Select bottom are the same on the right side. When you start make sure your phone is off and you see Menu and the select button appears right below menu with a silver line on it.

A:AnswerI agree there should be an easier way. What I do is: on the center pad push the top (there is a picture of a phone book there) then push the "review" button, this will bring up the address book.

If you are going to use the answering system instead of the Voicemail, please make sure that the number of rings of the VTech phone is lesser compared to the number of rings set with your Voicemail service through Mid Hudson Cable.
