• A greeting announcement can be recorded by: Select Menu - Push bottom Arrow (CID) until Answering Sys - Push the select and then select Announcement - Then select Record and you will be guided to record the greeting announcement. The Menu and Select bottom are the same on the right side. When you start make sure your phone is off and you see Menu and the select button appears right below menu with a silver line on it.

• Hi - Yes, you can record your personal greeting on the VTech IS8151-4. To record your outgoing announcement: Step 1: Press MENU when the handset is not in use. Step 2: Press CID▼ or DIR▲ and highlight Answering sys, then press SELECT. Step 3: Press SELECT again to select Announcement. Step 4: The handset will display ANNOUNCEMENT, press RECORD Step 5: Press STOP when you finish recording. Hope this helps. Thank You! -Vtech Support
