“I have had this VTech phone and my Pixel cell phone for years. All the sudden, randomly, they are trying to connect. I do not want them to connect. How do I stop them? I don't know what changed.”

Hi - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Vtech DS6771-3. Your telephone system has the auto-connect feature, if you have connected this cellphone before, you may remove it from the cell devices list or disconnect by pressing and holding the CELL 1/CELL 2 button on the base.
