The headset connects automagically, doesn't need to be paired. The sound quality is freaking awful, though.

Please try again later.press and hold the find handset button until i lights. when you let go of the button it should remain lighted. place the headset on the base and wait. thew headset will blink red/blue fast for a few seconds than it will be solid red. after a few more seconds the red will turn to solid blue. now the headset is registered. if you pick it up and put it to your ear you should be able to press the button and hear a dial tone. if this procedure does not work than there are other problems for wich you should contact VTECH

The headset that came with the system runs on DECT technology and is not a Bluetooth enabled device. Also, the headset is already pre-registered to the telephone base.
