Maria - If your cell phone has poor reception in your home, the DS6771-3 cannot improve the reception. However, if there is a location in your house with better reception, you can leave your cell phone at that location while using the cell line. Please note that the telephone base must be within 15 feet of the cell phone for the connect to cell feature to work. Thank you, -VTech Support
