• I have a 5th GEN iPad and with autodesk sketchbook, bamboo note, and abode draw I can connect my bamboo fineline via Bluetooth inside the apps.

• That's a bad idea to use a finger mimic technology to replace the Apple Pencil technology in terms of accuracy. It will work just like a finger, but do not expect it is accurate enough like how you write using Pencil. They are two very different technologies, where the Pro's price reflects it's technology.
