I have the Lenovo Yoga 720 and I use the pen for notes. It depends on what exactly you're looking for I think. I like it a lot for notes but I think you could get one that works similarly for a cheaper price. I would probably suggest trying to find a cheaper one if you just want it for notes.

I'm using it in combination with Onenote that will read my writing and convert it into more legible, typed text and have been very happy with it.
