• I have the Lenovo Yoga 720 and I use the pen for notes. It depends on what exactly you're looking for I think. I like it a lot for notes but I think you could get one that works similarly for a cheaper price. I would probably suggest trying to find a cheaper one if you just want it for notes.

• I'm using it in combination with Onenote that will read my writing and convert it into more legible, typed text and have been very happy with it.
