On the other hand, this doesn't necessarily mean this pen is not going to work for you. The Bamboo Ink counts with dual technology built in. It can either work with AES Pen technology or MPP (Microsoft Pen protocol). In your case, you will need to confirm with Dell to make sure that the model you have has one of this technologies.
