• The water filter is a keurig filter and the coffee filters are a #4 filter it also comes with a permanent #4 filter so you don't have to buy the paper filters

• This coffee maker came with the " V " shaped but I'm using the plated round type. It has a fine mesh metal filter that can be used without paper filter. Make good hot coffee.

• This coffee maker uses cone filter not basket filter. They aren't special. Both cone and basket filters are sold side-by-side in most (if not all) grocery stores.

• It just uses a standard #4 cone filter. It also comes with a permanent gold filter as well.
