Hello Foggy - A very small amount of bleach mixed with a full reservoir of water should be fine to use. However, we recommend using distilled white vinegar to clean the unit. If you chose to use bleach, it is imperative that you run a full reservoir of clean water through the unit to flush any residual bleach out of the water pathway after each use
