• I used it as a regular HDD for my computer so I don’t see why not. I would just say to look into SSD’s though. Some of the new games that are coming out need to be ran through an SSD.

• Hi Hello​​​​​​​, Sony added support for external USB hard drives on the PS5 with their April 2021 update. However, due to PS5 restrictions, games can only be played off the console’s internal SSD.
