I just did it to my computer worked no problem windows 10 and 700 gig of junk, all came out great all i did was went from a full 750 hd to 1 tb

On top of that, I'm sure WD probably has an updated version of it on their website or there is updates to use on it. You have like 14 days I believe to return the drive if it doesn't work to your satisfaction, so the best thing could be to get it and see if it works for your setup and if not take it back to the store for a refund since these are available in most stores.
