While I do not have any experience with your particular configuration, I do have 3 of these drives running on different systems. One is on a stand alone Windows 7 system, another is on a stand alone Windows 10 system and the third one is on a stand alone Ubuntu Linux system. These are pretty generic drives, so I don't see why it would not work for you.

This WD Blue drive is intended for personal computer use, not for server use, but it should fit and work in a server that uses SATA 1/2/3 or SATA 300 or SATA 600 drives. The WD Red and Gold drives, at higher prices, are more intended for continuous and 24 hour server use and are rated to be more durable in that type of use. Look up "WD color codes" for more details.
