Please try again later.go to http://www.crucial.com/ and search under apple for ram and internal SSD-HD. personally for storage I use internal drives in an external enclosure (which are USB and probably work with apple) until full, then switched out to a new drive. internal drives are for permanent working programs and storage.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the Apple computer is newer than 2011 then you can use any SATA hard drive including Solid State. If the computer is older that 2011 then you can still use SATA but you will need to stay away from the Solid State hard drives as they have been known to cause older iMacs to crash. I would recommend discussing this with a Geek Squad agent however.
