• It should work fine. Just need to format the HDD and install inside the pc. This HDD can be used in desktop pc, laptop or external drive. Just carefully installed with some latex gloves to avoid static.

• This drive is a full sized (3.5") spinning hard drive. The Envys take only the 2.5" dirves, I believe. I would recommend an SSD for notebooks and All-in-One form factor models as well. Hope this helps
