Macrium Reflect has worked just fine for me. (the free version). www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx. Good luck.

Found it by Googling 'Western Digital free Acronis'. You can download it here: http://support.wdc.com/downloads.aspx?p=119&lang=en It says it needs at least one WD drive attached, so I'm guessing it has some way of checking.
