Is it compatible with XPS 8500 DELL DESKTOP ? null

It should be but can not insure compatibility with system.

It should fit in any desktop and operate well with any operating system. It won't fit in a laptop. I've used it for both Windows and Linux.

Not familiar with that model of Dell. Does it have SATA power and data connectors? Does it have Windows 7 or newer? If "yes" to the above, then "Yes".

It should be. My computer is also a Dell, so the connections should all be correct.

It should without issue. You would just need open SATA port and power connection.

If that XPS runs Windows 8 or later I'm sure you won't have a compatibility issue.
