• If you have never done this don't try, have someone do it for you. If you replace your main drive with this you won't have a computer operating system. You will have to install windows and start fresh, if you are adding this drive as an additional storage device then you will have to format it before you can use it. Hope that helps.

• This is a standard bare drive with no data written on it. Additional software will be needed to clone your data to this drive, as this drive does not contain a disk to do so.
