yes ..but WD makes a drive specific for video applications. This drive would work but the life of the drive will be diminished over time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.DVR's typically use a special partition scheme and possibly a special format. If you know how to reformat and/or re-partition and if the DVR takes a desktop hard drive (3.5") instead of a laptop hard drive (2.5") then it will work.
