I use this for my Xbox one and if they use a similar system for storing your games then you would have to reformat to save other data on to the drive. If you’re only trying to save data like pictures or movies, you should be fine but If you intend to save your games, you probably won’t be able to use it with your computer as well.

From my understanding you only format it when you first begin to use it. There are 3 different options one for a Mac one for Windows and one that has capability to be switched between the 2. I don’t know a lot about gaming systems but if it has the same OS I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
