“Can i back up more than one windows pc? I would prefer to use just one external hard drive for the two pcs i use daily. Are there instructions on how to accomplish this? Thanks”

It depends on the byte size or the amount of the information from each PC. If it will all fit then yes. You could take the drive and split it into two volumes one for each PC. But the easy way have a dedicated drive for each PC, better yet have four drives for each and use one each quarter to do back up.
