• Most modern Macs, yes. I have shot video for clients that have Apple computers, and traded files.

• Dont think so. Different systems and it needs to recognize the drive before u can do anything

• No. It's formatted for PC and can be reformatted [easily] for MacOS. Can partition within either, but can't dually format.

• Yes. I used disk utility on my MacBook and reformatted it as fat. It then worked for both my pc and mac. File transfers are slower than if I formatted it just for my mac
