Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If everything goes onto the Mac first, then yes. Externals needs to be formatted to the OS of the computer it connects to. The one I just purchased is only going to be used with our Mac.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To a Mac, yes. If the Mac has USB-C ports it will require an adapter from USB A that is the drive's cable. To an iPad running iOS 13 with a Lightning connector, yes but requires an Apple Lightning-to-USB or Lightning-to-USB 3 camera adapter. It may be necessary to connect the Lightning charger cable to the adapter to supply enough power for the drive. To an iPad running iOS 13 with a USB-C connector, yes but requires a USB-C to USB A adapter. Not sure if the iPad will supply enough power from the USB-C port to power an external hard drive. To an Android phone - don't know.
