• Yes, the WD - Game Drive for PS4 External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Black/Blue either as a 2TB or 4TB will perfectly play PS4 games directly off of it to any PS4. You can copy games to the internal storage if you want but there is not speed advantage to an external drive on any PS4. This is NOT true for a PS5, but I don't have a PS5 so it's not an issue for my PS4 PRO.
