Q: Can this be used on the PS5?
A: Yes and no. I currently have it plugged in to my ps5 but it only runs my ps4 games. Ps5 games cannot run from any external hard drives at the moment only ps4 games. At least until Sony updates the firmware on the ps5
Q: Can you put this on a ps4 if so how many games will it hold?
A: Yes, this was able to connect/port with my PlayStation 4 with no problem. As for how many games it can hold, it really depends on the size of the games themselves seeing as how some games can require as little as 25 gb of memory, then there’s some that can take up as much as 150 gb (1000 gb = 1 tb), so with that in mind, a 4tb drive can hold between 25 to 160 games, maybe a little more, maybe a little less. Again really depends on the size of the games you are playing. Hope this helps!

A: Hi, Sony added support for external USB hard drives on the PS5 with their April 2021 update. However, due to PS5 restrictions, games can only be played off the console’s internal SSD. A: It's a drive like any other. If you choose to connect it to laptop/desktop, it will serve its purpose. That being said, if you want to use with a computer after you've used it with a PS4, you will have to format it first, because Windows will not recognize the file system and won't be able to read from or write to the drive. This means that you will lose any game and app data previously stored on the drive.
Q: Can you use it for security cameras
A: Yes, it is just a hard drive that you add more storage to your system.
Q: Does it work with the PlayStation pro?
A: I don't see why it shouldn't. To my knowledge A pro just has more usb ports in the back, I'd buy it, you can put lots and lots of games on this drive.
