Yes and no. I currently have it plugged in to my ps5 but it only runs my ps4 games. Ps5 games cannot run from any external hard drives at the moment only ps4 games. At least until Sony updates the firmware on the ps5
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Patch 1.04 was sent out by Playstation and this addressed the issue. Now PS5 will run from an external device PS5 games, as long as console is updated to current firmware (if auto updates enabled then it's already installed)
