“Restoring backups I know I can restore files using the Ethernet connection. Can I restore files from the USB 3.x port if I loose my network? If I connect using only USB port does this drive look like a typical USB external drive?”

• I know u can do backups to any other device but I am not sure. WD has great forums if you want to try asking there.

• Drive is only accessible by ethernet. USB port is for adding another external drive only, cannot connect it to pc via usb

• Yes, it would work just like a standard USB drive.
