Restoring backups I know I can restore files using the Ethernet connection. Can I restore files from the USB 3.x port if I loose my network? If I connect using only USB port does this drive look like a typical USB external drive?

I know u can do backups to any other device but I am not sure. WD has great forums if you want to try asking there.

Drive is only accessible by ethernet. USB port is for adding another external drive only, cannot connect it to pc via usb

Yes, it would work just like a standard USB drive.
