• It will work just fine for that! You may need to format it to be compatible to your computer. I think you should be able to just plug it in an go. The preinstalled software is a easy to use back-up software will make it simple to back everything up.

• USB. One understands the cloud....Lol. I like my info a lot closer to home. And yes it should work. I'm able to use it on my tablet and my smart T.V.
