You have to set up your computer to do backups. That is not a storage device action

Please try again later.I have discovered that this external hard drive will work to backup whatever programs I designate, at the time I designate, provided my laptop is plugged in and turned on at the designated time. I usually choose to begin the backup right before I shut down for the day (or night) so that I can put my laptop out of reach from my cats... just sayin.
